Play Therapy

Play therapy is a specific technique targeted to children. As adults, we use words to convey our thoughts and feelings. Children struggle with expressing themselves verbally due to a lack of proficiency in the use of language and the emotional control that comes with maturity.

University professors and therapists have observed children in the act of play for decades. This documentation has helped us decipher the stories children are unable to verbalize. Trained therapists facilitate this process with enormous success for children and their families.

Play Therapy is often helpful for common childhood issues, such as:

  • Fears
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Loss
  • Divorce
